Download Now

The following instructions decribe how to download and install the Graham POI file on your TomTom device.

Update your TomTom GO firmware

This POI installation has been successfully tested with the latest version of the TomTom GO firmware. Please ensure that your TomTom is up to date before installing the POI file. In case of problems installing with earlier product versions please refer to the TomTom manual.

To update your firmware please connect your TomTom device to your PC and load the TomTom HOME software. TomTom HOME will automatically detect whether your firmware needs to be updated and will download and install this if so.

Installing the POI file on your TomTom GO

  1. Download the POI file here. Save the file on your computer by selecting “save” when prompted. Save the file in a place where you can easily find it again for step 4 of the installation, e.g. on your Desktop or in My Documents.
  2. Connect your TomTom GO to your PC using the USB data cable. The USB cable is supplied with your TomTom GO product. Ensure that TomTom GO is powered using the AC adapter. Your TomTom GO is now visible in "My Computer" as a "Removable Disk".
  3. Unzip the contents of the downloaded POI zip file. This can be done by right clicking on the file and selecting 'Extract All'.
  4. Go to the directory on the local hard drive of your PC where you unzipped the POI files (Graham_Branches.ov2 & Graham_Branches.bmp) Select and copy the files. You must copy the files - do NOT copy the folder.
  5. Go to "My Computer” on your PC; Go to "Removable Disk". This is now the TomTom hard disk.
  6. Open the map folder. The folder will have the same name as the map you are currently using on your TomoTom device. This is typically "GP_plus_major_roads_of_WE". Paste the copied files directly into this folder.

The POI file is now successfully installed on your TomTom GO. You will now be able to navigate to any Graham store using the usual methods.
